Une édition du Tour de Corse ou les 306 maxi 2 litres deux roues motrices ont donné du fil à retordre aux WRC quatre roues motrices surtout quand les routes étaient sèches, Delecour finissant deuxième au scratch. It was a very special edition of the Tour de Corse with the 306 maxi that pushed the fight to the big boys WRC cars with their 4 wheel drive specialy when the roads were dry.
