Wolfe Island Bird Watching | Snowy Owls, Short-eared Owls and Bald Eagles

January 16, 2023 We make an afternoon run out to Wolfe Island for some winter birdwatching. Specifically, we are keen to see the various raptors (hawks, falcons, eagles and owls) that often 'winter' on the island. We luck out with nice views of Snowy Owls, Short-eared Owls and Bald Eagles but hawks are strangely absent, at least during our short visit to the island. Music:
