NRI Double Standards? Why Always Target Indians? | India & Indian Tourists Reality #indiansinamerica #indianfamilyinusa #indianvlogger In today’s video, I want to talk about what I believe is a double standard when some NRIs talk about India and Indians. When foreign tourists visit India and share their negative experiences, some people are quick to criticize India and Indians. But when an Indian tourist visits the USA or another foreign country and talks about even a small negative experience, why do some people again start blaming Indians? My question is simple: Why is the focus always on Indians? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am NOT saying that Indians should be defended when they do something wrong. If an Indian tourist behaves badly, call it out as an Indian tourist issue. But if an NRI is responsible for something, why not clearly identify it as an NRI issue? If these videos are being made for social awareness and civic sense, then we should also ask whether they are actually creating any improvement. I have a few questions for the Our American Dream: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q.1 You have been making videos about these issues for 3–4 years. How much improvement have you actually observed among Indians during this time? Q.2 You say your videos are based on facts and proper information. How many people have actually faced any real action because of the issues you highlight, or is the criticism limited to social media? And one question for the audience: ------------------------------------------------------- Q.1 After watching these videos for years, how much improvement have you actually seen among Indians? Also, have you ever noticed how many videos are about Indian tourists and how many are about NRIs? This video is not about blindly defending India or Indians. Wrong is wrong, whether it is done by an Indian tourist, an NRI, or anyone else. But criticism should be fair and consistent. If an Indian tourist does something wrong, call it out. If an NRI does something wrong, call it out too. Social awareness should be about improving people, not simply targeting one group again and again. What do you think about this?
