A beautiful ride through the lesser-explored roads connecting *North Paravur to Kalamassery!* 🏍️🌳 In Vlog #31, I'm taking the Athani–Paravur Road, exploring Mannam, Thathappilly, Karingamthuruth, Kongorpilly, Chirayam, Methanam, Eloor and Manjummel before finally reaching South Kalamassery. This stretch has some wonderful surprises – narrow roads covered with trees on both sides, peaceful residential neighbourhoods, beautiful bridges and scenic views of the Periyar River. Along the way, I also share a few observations: 🌳 The charm of tree-lined residential roads and quieter neighbourhoods. 🌉 Thathappilly Bridge and the memories associated with it. 🌾 The importance of protecting Kerala's Pokkali fields and low-lying wetlands, which play an important role in water storage and flood management. 🛣️ Narrow roads, sharp curves and the challenges of overtaking. 🌿 Common water hyacinth covering the water beneath a bridge near Chirayam and the need to address this issue. 🏭 Eloor's industrial landscape, HIL and FACT. 🌉 Manjummel Regulator-cum-Bridge and the traffic challenges towards Kalamassery. One thing that stood out during this ride was how beautiful these roads can be when greenery is preserved and construction doesn't take over every available space.
