Linkin Park - Crawling (Piano Version)

Hello, I'm back with another Linkin Park cover, this time it's Crawling. Crawling is from their debut album Hybrid Theory, and it’s always been one of my favorites. There’s something about that main melody in the intro and the final chorus that hits me with this wave of nostalgia. It has that unmistakable early-2000s Linkin Park sound that I absolutely love. For this arrangement, I really wanted to bring out the heaviness of the chorus. The line “Confusing what is real” is sung with so much raw power by Chester that it still gives me goosebumps, and I tried to capture some of that intensity on piano. I also built each chorus up a little more than the last so the final climax really hit, especially when that same melody from the intro returns at the end. For the background, I went for a broken-glass style inspired by the original music video. Hope you enjoy it! Let’s see what I’ll cover next!
