On December 7th, 2024, I went to the Connecticut Valley Railroad (also known as the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat) to chase their infamous North Pole Express event at Essex, CT. This Christmas Season event includes 4 running trains (3 steam and 1 diesel) running on the currently busy ex-New Haven Valley Line.
