Ferrari team-mates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc collided at the opening of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Hamilton dived down the inside at Turn 1, but Leclerc left him no room at Turn 2, forcing Hamilton onto the gravel. The FIA stewards ruled no further action required on the clash. Hamilton has since criticized Ferrari for having 'no rules' governing how its drivers race each other and called for 'rules of engagement' like he had at Mercedes. While Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur confirmed the team will discuss the incident internally, Hamilton said it is 'too late' for team orders to revive his title bid, as he sits 76 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli.
