Istobal M12 at BP - Bangor (Removed)

Istobal M12 with light and dark green carlite (originally green polyethylene) brushes at a BP petrol station in Rathgael Road, Bangor. Installed in 1999 and was in service from 2000 until 2014. It originally featured a Touchless/Tub-Free Wash and that original wash setup was demolished in 2005 and replaced with brush wash. Here is the Street View: https://maps.app.goo.gl/YsoDvyjkKQmVr... Price: £4.50 (Top grade wash) This car wash was removed for a hand car wash in 2014. Since 2025 it was closed down when they refurbished the Eurospar into a bigger shop, and the area is now open for a car park extension. A Jet Wash is now on site, which opened in Spring 2026. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #carwash #istobal
