Bouwo

Bouwo is a variatioin of the Afro-Caribbean dance Bèlé. The word 3bouwo3 can be associated to the expression "heartless man". Indeed; the song is about a woman who entreats her lover to mary her as she is about to die. This dance is quite difficult as the dancers must remain in unisson, on a 3/3 tempo. It has been fairly well executed here. The singer has beautifully performed! I forgot his name (sorry). Do not hesitate to respond, just like the chorus when you attend a "rond bèlè". Enjoy!
