Indy Swords & Shimmies at Clayshire Castle Medieval Faire 2025 (Set 2)

Belly dance troupe Indy Swords & Shimmies put together a storytelling set for the first time at the Clayshire Castle Medieval Faire in September 2025! Featured dancers Mina and Jennifer play the roles of a human and a djinn who become friends, supported by troupe members Jeana, Maria, Aradia, Mandy, Emilee, and Julie. The script was composed by troupe director Jeana and narrated aloud by Emilee, with tech support and video editing by Aradia. The dancing is primarily FCBD style improvisation, with some staging for transitions.
