The Cerberus in Devil May Cry 3 (2005) Deserves More Recognition

Devil May Cry 3 throws a lot at you in the first hour, but nothing hits quite like Cerberus, the three-headed ice dog standing between you and the rest of the game. In this video, I want to talk about the early boss Cerberus in Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, breaking down what I find fascinating about it and why it makes me appreciate DMC3 even more as a great action game. I'm going over the mythology behind the boss's inspiration, the game's design philosophy, and why losing to this dog is just as instructive as beating it.
