This assembly kit creates an R/C model of the Citroën front-wheel drive saloon car DS which was honored with third place in the 1999 Car of the Century awards. In 1955, the Citroën DS was announced in Paris and it was sometimes dubbed the “spaceship’’ for its aerodynamic design. This model artfully captures that legendary styling with a lightweight polycarbonate body, based upon the compact 2WD of the MB-01 chassis. Chrome plated wheels are paired with radial tires. 世界の自動車評論家が選んだ「20世紀の名車ランキング」で3位に輝き、フランスの第18代大統領シャルル・ト゛・ゴール氏の公用車に採用されたことでも知られるシトロエン DSがRCカーになりました。1955年の発表当時、前衛的な空力フォルムから「宇宙船」と呼ばれた姿はRCカーでも注目の的。ボディ本体はブルー、ウインドウはスモークで塗り分け、前後バンパーやヘッドライトは別パーツ構成としたスケール感の高い仕上がりです。シャーシはコンパクトサイズの2WD、MB-01を採用。クロームメッキされたホイールにはラジアルタイヤを装着しました。
