The World Bank Southeast Asia Regional Economic Corridor and Connectivity Project is upgrading an Asian Highway and streamlining border procedures to increase job opportunities through better connectivity across Thailand, the Lao PDR, and Viet Nam. In northern Laos, the project is revitalizing communities by improving secondary roads that connect to rural villages, improving road safety, and increasing access to markets, public services, and opportunities.
