Колодец замка Бистон: насколько он глубок на самом деле?

How deep is Beeston Castle Well? Is it really one of the deepest wells in the UK? Our search for deep historic wells began at the East Kent Railway, after Zack became fascinated by the well there. We then visited Dover Castle to investigate another remarkable historic well. Now we're at our third well — Beeston Castle Well in Cheshire. In this video, we visit Beeston Castle, an English Heritage site, to explore the history of its famous well and investigate just how deep it really is. Perched high above the Cheshire countryside, Beeston Castle is an incredible historic site with dramatic medieval ruins, ancient stone walls and spectacular views. With its atmospheric, almost film-set appearance, it's easy to see why the castle feels like something from a fantasy film. We carry out our own stone-drop experiment at Beeston and compare our results with the experiment we carried out at Dover Castle Well. We also look at Woodingdean Well, one of the deepest hand-dug wells in the world. But the stone-drop experiment isn't a scientific way of measuring a well. For us, it's a way of experiencing just how incredibly deep these historic wells are. We then take a step back from the measurements to explore the history of these wells and imagine what it must have been like to rely on them for water hundreds of years ago. 🏰 Beeston Castle, Cheshire 📜 English Heritage 💧 Beeston Castle Well 📏 Deepest wells in the UK 🏛️ Medieval castle history 🎬 Historic and atmospheric locations This is a family visit from Parks and Bricks.
