Walking Around Langsett Reservoir | Langsett Barn to the Moors | Ambient Sounds

Join me for a peaceful walk around Langsett Reservoir in South Yorkshire, starting and finishing at Langsett Barn. This walk is featured in Carol Burkinshaw's Walks for All Ages and follows a clockwise route around the reservoir. From Langsett Barn, the walk heads towards the reservoir before crossing the dam wall. The route then follows the eastern side of the reservoir, gradually climbing towards the open moorland before returning towards the water. The final section follows the path alongside the reservoir before returning to Langsett Barn and the car park. After a brief intro about the walk from me, take your time and enjoy the natural sounds of the walk — footsteps, birds, wind through the trees and the sounds of the countryside around Langsett Reservoir.
