Skye Boat Song - Luke Faulkner

Sheet Music: https://www.lukefaulkner.com/product-... Recently made popular around the world as the title song from "Outlander", the melody of what is now commonly known as the Syke Boat Song originated as an 18th century song called "Cuckoo of the Tree" by Scottish poet William Ross (who was from the Isle of Skye). My piano arrangement started life as an improvisation about a decade ago - what is now the central episode (1:10). To this I added an open 5th figuration as a sort of formal pivot and bolted on a few more sections. Bish bash bosh.
