Toshiba (& Schindler) Lift Tour - IMM Mall

21 Sep 2022 0:00 Lobby A 1:26 Lobby B 2:48 Lobby C 4:01 Lobby D In an odd fashion for a Capitaland owned building, almost all of the 32-year-old Toshiba lifts have not been modernised or replaced, only given some forms of aesthetic upgrade, such as an interior refurbishment in all passenger lifts, and COP replacement in all original lifts. Lobby A's lifts have a unique chime not heard elsewhere. They also have logic issues causing the call button to always call both lifts and not go out until both have responded. Lobby F in the warehouse wing has this issue as well, and it's likely due to age. Anyway, these 2 lifts are the largest passenger spec lifts in the complex. Lobby B's exterior fixtures are slightly different, with the indicator above the doors except on level 1 where it is in LOP form like Lobby A has. These 2 lobbies had their first floor call stations replaced. Lobby C is additional, and for some reason was installed by Schindler instead, who seemingly replaced some travellators. Lobby D had similar fixtures to Lobby A, but was modernised way back in 2019, likely due to heavier wear and tear due to their location. While I rode them in 2015 and they were similar to the rest, it's a shame nobody filmed them before the mod. Warehouse wing lifts coming later!
