P-VINE RECORDS https://music.apple.com/jp/album/play... Who knew the guitarist from Boredoms had this sort of album in him. 11 acoustic guitar tracks with some of the softest singing you ever heard. I first listened to this quite a few years ago, but I'll admit it was kind of a hard listen. These tracks are pretty long and not very dynamic, but I return to it again and again for some reason. It helps that Hana is immediately arresting to the ears, with Machiawase being a fine followup, but if I had my way I'd probably trim a track or two. I don't mean to sound so scathing, I really do enjoy this and I've been coming back to it for years; Mizu, Akanbou No Me, Masao No Yume, and Seiichi Yamamoto's tender voice. It's all really lovely.
