Today, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi openly extended his support to the 'Cockroach Janata Party' for the first time and raised the issue regarding the arrests of Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka; CJP leader Abhijit Dipke thanked him for this. He stated unequivocally that hoisting the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar is not unconstitutional, even though the government has de-notified the site as a designated protest venue.
