Genesis 22 ASMR Whispered Bible Study | The Lord Will Provide | Abraham, Isaac & Jesus Foreshadowed

Welcome back to Letters to the Church ASMR. Tonight, we continue our journey through the book of Genesis with Genesis chapter 22 — one of the most powerful foreshadowings of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. In this chapter, God tests Abraham’s faith and tells him to take Isaac, the son he loves, to the land of Moriah. Abraham obeys, Isaac carries the wood, and on the mountain, God provides a ram in Isaac’s place. This chapter is heartbreaking, beautiful, heavy, and full of Gospel imagery. In Genesis 22, we see Abraham’s obedience, Isaac’s trust, the Angel of the Lord calling from heaven, and the powerful truth of Yahweh-Yireh — The Lord Will Provide. This Christian ASMR Bible study reflects on faith, surrender, obedience, substitution, God’s provision, and how Genesis 22 points us forward to Jesus Christ — the beloved Son, the promised Savior, and the Lamb God provided for us. Scriptures referenced in this video: Genesis 22:1–2 Genesis 22:3–4 Genesis 22:5 Genesis 22:6 Genesis 22:7 Genesis 22:8 Genesis 22:10–12 Genesis 22:12 Genesis 22:13 Genesis 22:14 Genesis 22:15–18 Hebrews 11:17–19 Thank you for spending this time in God’s Word with me. Rest tonight in the faithfulness of God. Remember: God sees the mountain before you do. God provides what you truly need. And through Jesus Christ, the Lord has already provided the greatest gift of all. Yahweh-Yireh. The Lord will provide.
