Fourth in our Crossroads series of visual testimonials is B Hall (formerly SNU). These bright young men provided an honest window into who they are as a collective and the values they put forth in their hall. They show us what collaboration and team work look like. — Join the Bklyn Combine and their young partners at Crossroads Juvenile Center as they embark on a powerful storytelling journey. Through their own voices, they share reflections on the realities of incarceration, the challenges they have faced, and the dreams and aspirations they carry for life beyond confinement. Since 2024, The Bklyn Combine has partnered with CCA (Center for Community Alternatives), and Crossroads to provide transformative educational and creative programming. Together, they worked alongside the young creatives to help them discover, develop, and tell their stories. The narratives featured in this series offer a rare and personal window into their lives—revealing not only the circumstances that brought them to Crossroads, but also their resilience, growth, and hopes for the future. These stories are more than personal accounts; they are opportunities for understanding. For readers on the outside, they provide valuable lessons about the choices, environments, and challenges that can shape a young person's path. Most importantly, they remind us that every young person has a story worth hearing and a future worth investing in.
