a winter weekend: american living in sydney *vlog*

in today's vlog, I'm taking you along for a weekend in my life as an American living in Sydney, Australia! we're going to brunch at Grounds Coffee Factory, making my FIRST ever trip to Bunnings, grabbing coffee & pastries at Flour bakery, walking the Pyrmont Bridge, going to book club, dinner at Sushi Train, a HYROX training session, beach walks in Cronulla, meal prepping greek salad wraps, my weekly apartment reset, and attempting latte art at home. we're also chatting about how I'm making friends in Sydney (because making new friends in your 20s, especially after moving abroad can be rough), and adjusting to short days and my first Australian winter. I hope you enjoy this vlog, and can't wait to see you in the next one!! 🤍 if you’re looking to meet people & make friends in Sydney, I love the Butter app: https://link.joinbutter.co/MjU4/cadence (not sponsored! just a big fan myself and hope it’s helpful 🥰) TIMESTAMPS 🌊 0:00 intro 0:21 what’s on for the weekend 2:02 brunch at Grounds Coffee Factory 2:53 my first trip to Bunnings! 3:51 Friday night catch-up 4:47 how I’m making friends in Sydney 6:47 coffee & pastries at Flour bakery 7:34 Pyrmont Bridge walk & book club 8:53 dinner at Sushi Train 9:04 evening chat & reading Yesteryear 11:05 Hyrox workout 12:25 coffee & beach walk 13:20 weekly apartment reset 14:01 meal prep with me: greek salad wraps 14:45 short days and Sydney winter 15:30 latte art with Kal & Cadence ✨ 17:49 Cronulla beach walk 18:18 (more) plant shopping at Bunnings LET'S LINK UP ✨ my website: https://cadencestringer.com ✨ my 8-week digital workout guide: https://cadencestringer.com/workout-g... ✨ notion life planner *use discount code YOUTUBE2026*: https://www.notion.com/templates/life...
