His Mercy Endureth

[Intro] Oh Lord, we lift our hearts Your goodness carries us [Verse 1] When the morning finds us breathing And the road is still unknown You have been our steady shelter You have made our hearts Your home Every blessing tells the story Every heartbeat sings Your name From the small things to the mighty Your great love remains the same [Pre-Chorus] We have seen Your hand in every season We have tasted kindness from above So with grateful hearts and open voices We will tell the world about Your love [Chorus] The Lord is good, His mercy never ends From one generation to the next, You remain our friend Your truth will stand forever, Your promise will endure We lift our praise to You, O Lord Your faithfulness is sure [Verse 2] When the night is long around us And our courage starts to fade You remind us of Your presence And the path that You have made Children learn it from their mothers Fathers pass the story on Every tongue and every nation Will proclaim what You have done [Pre-Chorus] We have seen Your hand in every season We have tasted kindness from above So with grateful hearts and open voices We will tell the world about Your love [Chorus] The Lord is good, His mercy never ends From one generation to the next, You remain our friend Your truth will stand forever, Your promise will endure We lift our praise to You, O Lord Your faithfulness is sure [Bridge] Yesterday, today, forever You are constant, You are near Through the years and through the changes Your word is strong, Your voice is clear We will teach our sons and daughters We will carry what is true Every generation rising Will return its praise to You [Final Chorus] The Lord is good, His mercy never ends From one generation to the next, You remain our friend Your truth will stand forever, Your promise will endure We lift our praise to You, O Lord Your faithfulness is sure [Outro] Your mercy is everlasting Your truth will endure From generation to generation You are good, Lord, You are good
