The Little Flowers of Saint Francis of Assisi-Part One-Chapters 1 & 2

Recorded on the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi's entrance into eternity and the enjoyment of the Beatific Vision of the Most Holy Trinity, this is a small tribute to our father, St. Francis, taken from the text of a classic book written by one the sons of his order, Brother Ugolini, within the century following his death. The text is taken from the first English translation of the "Fioretti di Santo Francesco d' Ascesi," revised and amended by Dom Roger Huddleston with authorship by Arthur Livingston, and published by The Heritage Press, New York, in the 1930's.
