Take a guided look inside the Golabchi Educational Center at the Columbia County Fairgrounds —designed, built, and installed by Wilderness by Klaus, we transformed the client’s harvested specimens into a lifelike, educational experience. The center is recognized as housing the largest private collection of world-class wildlife displays in the U.S., anchoring conservation and hunter-education programming for the region. Our founder Klaus Lebrecht—wildlife artist, outdoors enthusiast, and an authority in wildlife displays for 35+ years—walks through the unique challenges of this project: including building full sized hippo and elephant displays from shoulder mounts, an industry first.
