The player competes against computer-controlled rivals on two courses: Seaside Course and Mountain Course. The circuits are compact adaptations of layouts associated with the Ridge Racer series, and races run in the forward direction.
The steering wheel controls the car's direction, while the accelerator pedal controls speed. There is no dedicated brake pedal, and the cars use automatic transmission. A VIEW button changes the camera perspective during a race, including between the chase view and bumper-style view.
The driving model is simplified for accessibility. Players concentrate on steering through corners, maintaining speed, overtaking rivals, and avoiding excessive contact with walls or other cars. Collisions can cause rival vehicles to spin dramatically, while the player's car generally loses less momentum. The result is a forgiving, playful racing experience rather than a realistic driving simulation.
Seaside Course is based on the novice circuit associated with Ridge Racer Revolution. It offers a relatively accessible route for learning the game's steering and cornering.
Mountain Course uses a different layout inspired by the earlier Ridge Racer circuits. Its bends and changing road direction provide an alternative challenge while retaining the game's simplified handling.
Only these two courses are available, and neither is presented as a reverse-track variation.
Four cars are available from the beginning, drawing on the Ridge Racer series:
F/A Racing is a familiar series vehicle with a conventional racing-car appearance.
RT Nebulasray is another recognizable Ridge Racer machine, presented in the game's compact style.
13th Racing is the series' distinctive devil-themed rival car.
White Angel is the contrasting angel-themed special car.
By default, the cars appear in the super-deformed “Pocket” style, with exaggerated proportions similar to Choro-Q toy cars. To change a car's appearance, hold the VIEW button while confirming the selection on the car-selection screen. The choice changes the vehicle's visual scale rather than unlocking a new machine.
The cabinet's service settings can also determine whether Pocket or Normal presentation is used by default.
