Ruby - Kraken pre-production tests

Here are some of my pre-production tests and drawings on Dreamworks's "Ruby Gillmans, teenage Kraken". Early on, for about 4 months , I worked on some 2D pencil tests (before the rig was built) to help figure out the style and specificities of the sea monsters. also drew some character model sheets and expressions. At the time, I worked closely with Craig Kellman, who was one the main character designers on the show. Overall, it was a really fun experience ! Too bad it did not do so well at the box office....
