Our day began at Phoenix Mall, but our first plan did not quite work out. We had started with City Bakery, but what we wanted was already over. So, we changed plans and headed to Kayani Bakery, where a childhood memory came rushing back. Kayani Bakery is famous for its Shrewsbury biscuits, but this time we picked up some delicious favourites, including mawa cake, walnut cake, rusk and butter. There is something special about revisiting food that brings back memories from childhood. After that, it was finally time to explore IKEA. What started as a simple visit quickly turned into the usual IKEA trap! 😄 We ended up looking at organisers, hangers, wardrobe fresheners, kitchen towels and plenty of other things. I even told myself that when I have my own big house one day, I would love to create a proper study organiser with IKEA products. Of course, there was also a little reminder about citizen responsibility. I requested that we avoid unnecessary plastic wherever possible. Carrying our own foldable cloth bag is such a small effort, but small actions matter. One person can make a difference too, and I am happy to be that one person. We then stopped at the IKEA café, where we enjoyed hot dogs, croissants, coffee, cola and more. I also noticed their option to pack certain items in newspaper, which I thought was a nice step towards reducing unnecessary packaging. Kudos to IKEA for that eco-friendly effort. 🌱 From IKEA, we moved on to Rameshwaram Cafe, where we enjoyed the Thatte Idli, dosa and filter coffee. The ambience was lovely, but what really stood out was the organisation and how efficiently everything was handled. The Lord Ganesha idol placed in the middle of the cafe added a beautiful and different vibe to the ambience, making the space feel even more welcoming and special. There was one small observation, though. People were excited to pick up their filled plates, but some were less interested in returning the empty plates afterwards. A humble request: if we can pick up our food, we can also return our plates. Keeping our surroundings clean is everyone's responsibility. There was one small observation, though. The boys sitting next to me even figured out that I was a vlogger and were amused when they saw me clean my place and return my plate! 😂 Finally, we headed back to Phoenix Mall, picked up our things and made our way towards the exit. But before leaving, Renish had one more craving: hot dogs! 🌭 Do check out Renish's hot dog review in the video and stay tuned for what awaits us next!
