Deana was dedicated to Jesus as a small child, raised in church, and by her own account the life of the party everywhere she went. Underneath it she had no idea who she was. At sixteen she made a decision she did not understand the weight of, and it hardened something in her that stayed hard for years. In this testimony, Deana shares how shame turned into addiction and depression, the years she spent running from a God who kept getting her attention, and the point where she was bedridden and no longer wanted to live, and asked him to show her who he was. She is on the prayer team now. She says holding a secret is what keeps a person captive. "He picked me up, he turned me around and he set my feet on solid ground."
