Installing Miniconda & Whisper for Automatic Video Transcripts

I use Whisper to turn the spoken audio from my videos into transcripts and SRT subtitle files for YouTube. Until now, I was still doing this on my old HP Omen laptop, so in this video I set up Miniconda and Whisper on my new Windows 11 PC. The installation doesn't go completely according to plan. I create a dedicated Conda environment, install FFmpeg, set up PyTorch with GPU support, discover that the first PyTorch/CUDA version isn't compatible with my NVIDIA graphics card, and work through several Python and environment issues along the way. Eventually, I get Whisper running successfully and generate an SRT subtitle file from one of my previous videos. There are still some transcription mistakes to correct manually, but the important part is working: I can now generate transcripts and subtitles on my new PC using its much more powerful GPU. This isn't a perfectly polished step-by-step tutorial. It's the real installation and troubleshooting process, including the mistakes and problems I encountered along the way.
