Light of Day - Marta Arpini & Mischa Porte // Song #4

'Light of Day' by Marta Arpini, Mischa Porte and Sanne Huijbregts as episode #4 of A Song A Day. The latest episode of A Song A Day with Marta Arpini and Mischa Porte was súch a joy, and the song we created is one I'll be forever proud of. The song is called "Light of Day" and honestly, the lyrics say it all: “Although my heart is dry like clay I try so hard to change it’s shape, but it soaks up all the pain. I try so hard to change and shape how it soaks up all the rain, to make it soft again. I know my mind’s a thunder cloud and I always try not to think out loud, so the tears won’t see the light of day and they will fade away. But I’m trying now to cry out loud so my tears will see the light of day, and I will be okay.” ◈◈◈ A SONG A DAY A Song A Day is a series of collaborations where the challenge is to co-compose and record a song in a day, while live-streaming the whole process. https://sannehuijbregts.com/a-song-a-day   / sannesanne   ◈◈◈ CREDITS Song → Light of Day By → Marta Arpini, Mischa Porte & Sanne Huijbregts Performed by→ ◦ Marta Arpini - Vocals & Synth ◦ Mischa Porte - Drums & Vocals ◦ Sanne Huijbregts - Vocals & Percussion Video credits → ◦ Sanne Huijbregts - Video ◦ Pat Cleaver - Mix ◈◈◈ LYRICS Although my heart is dry like clay I try so hard to change it’s shape But it soaks up all the pain Although my heart is dry like clay I try so hard to change and shape How it soaks up all the rain To make it soft again I know my mind’s a thunder cloud And I always try not to think out loud So the tears won’t see the light of day And they will fade away I know my mind’s a thunder cloud But I’m trying now to cry out loud So my tears will see the light of day And I will be okay ◈◈◈ RELATED videos ◦ The full live-stream → sannehuijbregts.com/a-song-a-day/2022/2/16/episode-4 ◦ A Song A Day #3 →    • Hide Away - Yanna Pelser & Ralph de Rijke ...   ◦ Death With Dignity Cover →    • Death With Dignity (Sufjan Stevens cover) ...   ◈◈◈ FOLLOW me on ◦ Instagram →   / sanne_sanne_music   ◦ Facebook →   / sannesannemusic   ◦ Youtube → https://tinyurl.com/s7l9vca ◦ Newsletter → https://sannehuijbregts.com/news ◦ Spotify → https://open.spotify.com/artist/6Mat9... ◦ Patreon →   / sannesanne   ◈◈◈ CONTACT me on Website → http://www.sannesannemusic.com/ Email → info@sannesannemusic.com Management → robert@birdcallbookings.nl
