Using the prayers of King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 19–20, John explores what healthy prayer looks like. He challenges us to approach God with humility, trust His sovereignty, and remember that God's answers may not always come the way we expect—but He is faithful, present, and working for our good. This message also introduces the ACTS model of prayer: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. More than a formula, ACTS is a practical way to bring focus and intentionality to our conversations with God while following the pattern we see in the Lord’s Prayer. Prayer is a two-way relationship. God is always hearing, but are we actively listening? John encourages us to quiet the noise, spend time in Scripture, practice solitude, recognize God's voice, and respond in obedience to what He is saying.
