GOBIND SAGAR LAKE BOATING 🚤 || गोविंद सागर झील || Himachal Pradesh gobind sagar lake gobind sagar gobind sagar lake bilaspur govind sagar lake govind sagar lake bilaspur gobind sagar lake boating gobind sagar boating boating at gobind sagar gobind sagar lake drone view govind sagar lake history boating govind sagar lake in Himachal Pradesh gobind sagar lake bilaspur himachal darshan lake boating govind sagar lake Himachal Pradesh gobind sagar una gobind sagar jheel gobind sagar baba balak nath mandir गोविन्द सागर हिमाचल प्रदेश के बिलासपुर जिले में स्थित मानव-निर्मित झील है। इसका नाम सिखों के दशम गुरु गोविन्द सिंह के नाम पर रखा गया है। यह झील सतलज नदी पर भाखड़ा बांध के निर्माण के कारण बनी थी।यह झील भारत के नक्शे पर सर्वोच्च स्थान रखती है। झील पर्यटन आदि के साथ-साथ कृषि के लिए भी अनमोल सिद्ध हुई है। इस झील से एक बहुत बड़े भू-भाग को सिंचाई आदि की सुविधा मिलने लगी है। यहाँ का भू-भाग एक परी लोक में परिवर्तित-सा हो गया प्रतीत होता है। सतलुज नदी पर बने बाँध के छिद्रों से झरने के रूप में झरता स्वच्छ पानी नेत्रों को शीतलता प्रदान करता है। गोविन्द सागर झील से 20 कि.मी. की दूरी पर 'नैना देवी मंदिर' स्थित है तथा पहाड़ी पर स्थित 'आनंदपुर साहिब' नामक सिक्खों का पवित्र तीर्थ स्थान है। हिन्दू और सिक्ख दोनों ही इसे पवित्र मानते हैं। अगस्त के महिने में नैना देवी के मंदिर पर विशाल मेला लगता है। तब हज़ारों की संख्या में भक्त यहाँ दर्शन करने के लिए आते हैं। अब गोविंद सागर झील जैसी वहाँ चार बड़ी झीलें और भी बन चुकी हैं, जिनके विकास की परियोजना चल रही हैं। The reservoir is on the river Sutlej and is named in honour of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru. One of the world's highest gravity dams, the Bhakra dam rises nearly 225.5 m above its lowest foundations. Under the supervision of the American dam-builder, Harvey Slocum,work began in 1955 and was completed in 1962. To maintain the water level, the flow of the river Beas was channelized to Gobind Sagar by the Beas-Sutlej link which was accomplished in 1976. The reservoir lies in the Bilaspur District and Una District. Bilaspur is about 91 km away from the Bhakra Dam.Its name given by Former Chairman of PSEB SardarJi Harbans Singh Somal, in honor of 10th Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In October and November, when the water level of the reservoir is high, a series of regattas are organised by the Tourism and Civil Aviation department. Gobind Sagar was declared a water fowl refuge in 1962. Fishing is commonly practiced here. It has about fifty one species and sub species. Bangana dero, Tor putitora, Sperata seenghala and Mirror carp are some of the common species found here.
