exploring ambient omnichord in early november.

helloooo! it is the month of november and where i am the leaves are falling and the temperatures are getting cold (40f, 4c). just today was the phenomenon of daylight savings, where all clocks are turned seemingly arbitrarily and hour back and it took quite a long time for me to readjust my watch and oven timer. my biggest news to share is the new instrument i've introduced to my ambient lineup: the omnichord! designed to be a digital autoharp, the omnichord features a side for selecting the chord u wish to play, and another side with these little contact points to play the chord. this is an instrument i've been interested in for years and am glad i finally pulled the trigger on getting one. for this video, i'm using it to trigger an external synth (enzo x), creating those long, warm swells, while the eurorack setup is generating it's own little plucks to compliment. it feels unpredictable, but yet very musical and manageable to play live and i look forward to future videos, and future ideas with this instrument. this video was unfortunately cut a little short due to technical issues with the camera, but hopefully that'll resolve itself soon-- hope you enjoy this one :) have a lovely day everyone, thanks for watching :) -logan setup: modular setup (ime english tear, alm pam's, cal synth rands + pleiades, eqd afterneath, intellijel case + 1u-s) moog mother suzuki omnichord om-108 meris pedals **I always opt for the fewest possible ads on youtube. if you would like to support the work i do, the number one way to support is thru bandcamp: https://logandanielmcdonald.bandcamp.com spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7lODH... apple music:   / logan-daniel-mcdonald   #ambient #ambientmusic #omnichord
