Ep 192 First Week at South Bay Holiday Park Brixham | Weekly Video Diary | 16 July (2021)

I get up early and go for a walk, I find the coastal path and enjoy the sea views. We go grocery shopping and then take a drive through Brixham. We come back for an afternoon of sport, first watching the Wimbledon final and then Euro Championship Final. It is so tense that I can’t watch and end up going to bed before the end of the game. Video Diary | Static Caravan Vlog | Mon 12 July The walk into Brixham only took 20 minutes from @southBay Holiday Park and it was all downhill. Brixham was lovely and I am so happy that we have such a beautiful place on our doorstep. We loved looking at all the boats and Mr W tried to convince me that we should buy one! The walk back up the hill wasn’t too bad. Once back at the caravan site we take a look at the laundrette to decide whether we should buy or washing machine to keep at the caravan or use the facilities. I think we should just use the laundrette. Video Diary | Static Caravan Vlog | Tues 13 July We take a drive to Dartmouth, using the car ferry to get there. Two things struck me, firstly, I didn’t realise how close it was, and secondly, I had no idea how gorgeous it was! We stroll around the town and declare it one of our favourite places in Devon so far! We head back to the caravan site, do a bit of work and then I take a stroll along the SW coast path, the views are stunning. I feel truly blessed to be here. Video Diary | Static Caravan Vlog | Wed 14 July I take a stroll into Brixham to find a postbox and buy some groceries for dinner. My plan was to catch the bus back to the site but I couldn’t find the bus stop so I got a taxi back instead. I spend most of the day working on my webshop for the t-shirts. You can check out my progress at https://lifefullofmeaning.co.uk/ Video Diary | Static Caravan Vlog | Thur 15 July We take a ride out to Broadsands Beach, it is just 3 miles away and we are hoping to find a nice safe, sandy beach that we can take the grandkids to when they come down. The beach doesn’t disappoint and Glenn goes for a paddle. I finally get my Be Kind T-shirt shop up and running and I am super excited. Even though it is incredibly late notice they say YES! Glenn and I head out to the supermarket to pick up some bedding for the spare room. We have little success in Sainsbury’s although I do pick up a very fetching pair of sunglasses. Video Diary | Static Caravan Vlog | Sat 17 July We take out friends for a stroll around the park and then into Brixham. We have a lovely time walking around and stop for a Devonshire Cream Tea. Welcome to A Life Full of Meaning. We sold our home and emptied our life of stuff. We currently live on a narrowboat called Nutshell and we have recently brought a static caravan in Devon.
