Fall garden mums are just starting to crack color and will add beautiful color to your landscape for 4-6 weeks provided you buy them just beginning to bloom. If you plant mums in your landscape, get them in the ground as soon as possible after purchase, add root growth formula, add 50/50 compost and cow manure mixture to soil if you plant in a clay area and elevate slightly to assist in drainage.
