The Man I Got Fired Just Hired Me Official Music Video AC Soundworks

“The Man I Got Fired Just Hired Me” is an original American rockabilly story song set in Memphis, 1957. A young mechanic damages a customer’s engine and lets his foreman take the blame. After receiving the man’s position, his conscience forces him to confess before any evidence is found. He loses the job—but weeks later, the man he wronged offers him a probationary position and one difficult chance to earn his trust. Bright hollow-body electric guitar, slap upright bass, crisp live drums and brief boogie-woogie piano replies drive this story of accountability, forgiveness and a second chance that still has to be earned. The performing character is fictional, and the singing voice was created using artificial intelligence. © 2026 AC Soundworks. All Rights Reserved.
