Journey into Dovedale was amazing and destressing. Archaeological structure blending in with nature such a bliss. The car park maintained by National trust and free for member otherwise £5 all day (closes 7:30pm). Ice cream sold here and there is toilet facilities in car park (£0.20). Perfect place for picnic, family walking, trekking and hiking. My walking roughly around 3.6 miles returning to car park. There are further walking routes beyond Ilam rock towards Milldale.
