🏡 Should You Use a Real Estate Agent or not? Compai Explains!

Buying Property? An Agent Can Be Your Best Friend If you're buying property in the Dominican Republic, a knowledgeable real estate agent can save you time, money, and costly mistakes. In this video, Compai explains why many buyers should use an experienced local agent and what you should expect from them. Tips Every Buyer Should Know Compai shares practical advice based on his own experience purchasing four properties in Sosúa, including: Choosing the right location. Looking past the "pretty pictures." Finding a property that matches your goals. Negotiating the best deal. Avoiding expensive first-time buyer mistakes. Selling Your Property? That's a Different Story... When it comes to selling, Compai has a very different opinion. He explains why he believes many real estate agents do not provide enough value to justify charging a 10% commission, especially in today's online marketplace. He discusses how many homeowners can successfully sell their own property, keep more of their equity, and still attract qualified buyers. Real Experience—Not Theory Everything discussed in this video comes from personal experience. Compai has purchased four properties in Sosúa and has successfully sold two of them. He shares what worked, what didn't, and what he would do differently today. Join the Conversation Do you think real estate agents earn their commission? Would you sell your own home or hire an agent?
