🚗 Puri Family Road Trip | Jagannath Darshan to Kolkata Return | Episode 2 🙏❤️ We finally reached our beloved destination, Puri, at around 2 PM. After checking into our hotel and having lunch, we took some much-needed rest. In the evening, we headed straight to the sea beach and spent some wonderful time enjoying the waves, the cool breeze, and some beautiful family moments. It was a perfect beginning to our trip. The next morning, we started our day with the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath. We visited the famous Jagannath Temple for darshan. Since it was 2nd October, the temple was extremely crowded with devotees. After waiting for quite some time, we finally got the opportunity to seek the blessings of Mahaprabhu. Jai Jagannath! 🙏 After returning from the temple, we took some rest and then headed to the beach to enjoy a refreshing sea bath. Later in the evening, we explored the local market and did some shopping. We spent the entire day enjoying these little moments, making beautiful memories with our family. And then came the time to say goodbye to Puri and head back home. The following morning, at around 8 AM, we started our return journey towards Kolkata. On the way, we took two breaks—one for breakfast and another for lunch. Unfortunately, our breakfast experience was not good at all. The quality of the food was quite disappointing. However, the lunch experience was really good, which made up for the disappointing breakfast. After entering West Bengal, we encountered heavy traffic congestion, particularly after Ranihati. The situation was even worse around Santragachi, where we got stuck in another major traffic jam. Finally, after a long drive, we reached Kolkata at around 8 PM. And that brings us to the end of our entire Puri family road trip! Talking about the driving experience, I covered a total distance of 1,036 kilometres throughout the journey and achieved an impressive mileage of 18.6 km/litre with my car. Overall, it was a wonderful family trip filled with happiness, beautiful experiences, a few unexpected challenges, and countless memories. Hopefully, one day we will return to this beautiful destination again, whenever Mahaprabhu Jagannath calls us.
