Genxt — Mayapon Tharam | മായപ്പൊൻ താരം (Official Music Video)

Mayapon Tharam (മായപ്പൊൻ താരം, "the magic golden star") is a Malayalam disco-pop song by Genxt about the last night before five friends scatter. Results are out, college is over, and one of them flies out at six in the morning. On a rooftop by the sea, Sanju wishes the night could stay just like this, and a golden star answers: time stops, distances disappear, and the five drift through a dream of their town, the sea, the sky and the farewell party they never had. "Maayappon thaaram... mizhiyil theliye / Ee raavil naam ozhukukayalle?" (Magic golden star, shining in our eyes / aren't we drifting through this night?)
