Returning To The Witches Forest: We Weren't Supposed To Survive This Encounter(Gone Wrong)

We went back into the woods to find the source of that terrifying Wendigo sound from our last trip... but what we experienced this time was completely unexpected. Zach and I decided to camp out overnight to get to the bottom of the mystery, but the forest quickly came alive around us. Throughout the night, we heard unexplained whistling echoing through the trees, the distinct crunch of footsteps breaking sticks right outside our camp, and the disembodied voices of a man and a woman in the pitch black. The entire time, we couldn't shake the heavy, suffocating feeling of being watched from the tree line. Local lore speaks of a phantom man who wanders deep among these specific trees carrying a lantern. After the voices and footsteps we captured, we have to wonder if we crossed paths with him—or something much darker.
