Record of a summer in the Sahyadris || A documetary film by Ganesh Gaikwad for FTII | Preet Urha

This is a documentary film shot in the hottest summer of Sahyadri mountain range in the foothills of Bhimashankar jyotirlingam. Film explores the hardship of life in Sahyadri’s remote villages and through the wise lens of the director Ganesh Gaikwad we see one untouched aspect of nature’s exploitation in the great sahyadri. Film deals with different characters and tries to find out the nothing. Film is shot by dop Preet Urha and edited by Atharva Karvekar. Sound of the film is recorded by Ravi Kumar and sound design is by Utsav Ghosh.
