1,100 Year Old Wooden Roofs! Aztec Ruins, NM

Filmed In June of 2021. We intentionally drove out of our way just to see the original wooden ceilings and roofs at the Aztec Ruins National Monument near Aztec, NM and we weren't disappointed! The main kiva, (which is huge!) was rebuilt to exact detail of the original and is interesting enough, but to pass through the long, still standing original living quarters with it's roof still intact was amazing! I need to find out who that roofing contractor was because I need that kind of quality for my own place. In the darkness, my little Olight rechargable keychain flashlight surprised me with it's brightness: OLIGHT I1R 2 Eos 150 Lumens EDC Flashlight Powered by a Single Built-in Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, Tiny Rechargeable Keychain Light USB Charging Cable Included: https://amzn.to/3iTngye We now have stickers! We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee. Whether your RV is a camper van, camp trailer, travel trailer, motorhome or just a car and a tent, there's going to be something interesting for you in the videos we produce. Back roads and overlanding are part of what we do while exploring the western states for beautiful, peaceful and sometimes remote places to camp on BLM and National Forest land (public land). Taking care of ourselves as much as possible and doing our own repairs is a must because we travel on a fixed income and a limited budget. If your into being off-grid and boondocking, or doing dispersed camping whenever possible then you'll appreciate the discussions on batteries, solar panels and solar chargers or power stations and 12v refrigeration.
