Krishna Byre Gowda’s Late-Night Bengaluru Inspection: 34% Streetlights Found Non-Functional

Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda conducted a late-night inspection from JP Nagar Metro Station to Gottigere on September 18. The inspection found 530 of 1,540 streetlights non-functional, along with incomplete footpaths, open drains, potholes, debris and dangerous BESCOM cables. Key dark spots included Christ University, Meenakshi/Mega City Mall and JP Nagar 4th Phase Metro.
