Rock Choir sing Don't Stop Me Now at Wolverhampton Race For Life (18/05/25)

On Sunday 18th May 2025, members of the Stourbridge & Kidderminster Rock Choirs were joined by fellow Rockies from Staffordshire and Shropshire to once again entertain the runners as they slogged their way around beautiful West Park in Wolverhampton in the annual Race For Life. These types of events are always more informal than 'regular' performances as the Rockies waved and cheered on runners of all abilities as they passed us. Whilst we didn't have any squirrels or rats to distract us this year (though a large Unicorn did wave back at us!), our sound system decided to play up a little, but despite this the Rockies carried on as usual under the smiling guidance of choir leader Paola Olivetti. It was a lovely sunny day and hopefully plenty of money was raised for Cancer Research UK.
