Stran Smith | Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer EP:88

In this episode of Registered Ranching, we headed to Childress, Texas, where we sat down with ProRodeo Hall of Famer Stran Smith at his family's store, 1930 Remnant! From chasing gold buckles to becoming a world champion calf roper, Stran has plenty of stories to tell! We got to hear about his rodeo career, the memories made along the way, and a few hilarious moments that had us laughing. But what makes Stran's story so special is that his identity was never found solely in his success inside the rodeo arena. We dive into what life beyond the gold buckle has looked like for Stran, from ranching and building S Cross S Ranchwear to opening 1930 Remnant and the incredible things he and his family are doing today. More importantly, Stran shares his heart for the Lord, the importance of knowing who you are outside of your accomplishments, and what it truly means to have a personal relationship with the Father and spend time with Him. This conversation was filled with great stories, plenty of laughs, wisdom, and faith. It was a true blessing to sit down with Stran and get to know the man beyond the gold buckle.
