The bell has been replaced...again! | Highlands Metra Station

For a few years, Highlands Metra Station in Hinsdale had a crossing with the only mechanical bell on the BNSF Racetrack. Sometime in October 2025, it was replaced with an E-Bell that was allegedly stolen shortly after. For a few months, the mechanical bell was back, until sometime in 2026, where it was replaced again, and in the present day the E-Bell is still there.
