If you're a good person head to our GoFundMe to support the Kean University Veterans Club: In this episode of _The Vincere Project_, Dr. Vince sits down with Brock Torre, Coast Guard veteran, Kean University counseling student, and someone who has spent the last two years learning what it really means to transition, grow, ask for help, and keep moving forward.They talk about counseling, veterans transitioning into new chapters, the importance of asking for help, what Brock has learned at Kean, and why sometimes the hardest part of growth is simply being willing to step into an unfamiliar world.And then there’s 88 miles.This November, Vince and Brock are taking on The Long Walk South ... an 88-mile journey from Long Beach Island to Cape May to raise funds in support of the Kean University Veterans Club and veteran students. The money raised will help support veterans as they move into education, careers, and community, and help provide resources and opportunities for the next veteran who walks through Kean’s doors.The goal is bigger than the miles. It’s about making sure veterans have support as they figure out what comes next and showing what can happen when a community comes together around that mission.We’ll document the journey along the way: the miles, the setbacks, the laughs, the dark hours, and whatever happens between LBI and Cape May.
