is amandla REALLY the problem?

The Children of Blood and Bone casting announcement brought back up the same accusation that has followed Amandla Stenberg for her entire career: that she steals roles from dark-skinned Black women. I wanted to look into this claim and at the actual stories behind these castings to answer once and for all, whether or not, she is the problem. And if she's not... then who is? #amandlastenberg #childrenofbloodandbone #colorism Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 1:35 - The Hate U Give 4:09 - Colorism 4:52 - Children of Blood and Bone 7:50 - Acknowledging Her Positioning 12:02 - Hollywood Has Work To Do and let me say it again for the people in the back COLORISM IS REAL! thanks for watching and please be kind in the comments! 💛
